Greenhouses for growing medical cannabis

Our portfolio includes consulting, designing and constructing greenhouses or halls for growing medical cannabis. We offer these services together with our Dutch colleagues, specialists in cultivating this commodity.

Greenhouse cultivation combines the best of indoor and outdoor growing: it allows full control over temperature, humidity, photoperiod, airflow and other parameters necessary for healthy and strong plants. Sustainability plays a key role for us – besides long-term energy savings, growing in a greenhouse has a much smaller impact on natural resources and leaves a smaller ecological footprint.

Once labelled a “recreational drug”, cannabis is now an important aid in the treatment of a wide range of mainly neurological diseases, and demand for it is rising. Since 1 January 2022, cannabis extracts with a THC content of up to 1 % (up from 0.3 %) by weight and without narcotic effects are exempt from the regime for addictive substances in the Czech Republic.

Our experts are on hand from start to finish: they guide you through the legislative framework, help you choose the location and plants, design the growing area including climate control, arrange zoning and building permits, build the greenhouse, train the operators and supervise the cultivation.

A greenhouse cultivation cycle takes about 12 weeks: two weeks of propagation, two weeks of pre-growth and eight weeks of growth, followed by harvesting, cleaning, disinfection and preparation for new planting.
