Biogas stations

Use of organic waste as fuel for heat and electricity production

Biogas stations

Biogas stations

Overview

Biogas stations can process municipal waste and so help reduce the amount of waste that ends up in landfills

We offer turnkey construction of biogas stations (BGS). We specialise in large industrial installations as well as large and small agricultural biogas plants. A BGS has to run in extreme conditions for at least 25 years without failure – it is not a consumer product. We use quality components, have negotiated exclusive terms with leading manufacturers of systems and process units, and provide professional services, warranties, monitoring and servicing.

A BGS is a stable source of power for the transmission system: it produces electricity without fluctuations all day and all year round, and its output can be regulated up and down as needed. It also helps the environment – it reduces ammonia emissions and the risk of water pollution and produces quality fertiliser.

Biogas stations can be built from 50 kW up to several megawatts of installed capacity.
