How to start

If you are interested in investment in your own source of electricity or heat and you want to use renewable energy as much as possible, the following schedule will help you understand the entire process from both the legislative and timeliness.

Generally, you need to count about three to six months from decision of investment into new technology until its completion when it comes to reconstruction or additions to the existing system in your building. In the case of new construction, it depends, of course, on the construction schedule.

Company NWT will show you whole process and complete administrative is included in every offer that we present to our customers. We prefer a complete turnkey supply. In the case of new construction we want to be with our customer from the very first idea, so before the design of project documentation itself.

We will help you make the right choices and you only then decide if you communicate well with us, whether you trust us and want us out of a competitors to choose as a partner.

STEP 1 – IDEA

Investor: I'm building or reconstructing family house, office building, storage or production hall and I want a long-term reduce both energy costs and dependence on conventional sources. I'm thinking about photovoltaics, heat pumps, cogeneration unit, wind power, energy storage into batteries or a combination of the above. What to choose?

NWT: Yes, your view is correct. In the long term are alternative sources for several years now a good investment. With some exceptions, the return will be around ten years old, but objects of new buildings and renovations do have a much longer life and are built for a longer period of time. Additionally, in the long run electricity and gas are more and more expensive. Increasingly, the maximum level of independence from traditional energy suppliers is being considered.

STEP 2 – AUDIT

Investor: So how to start? I know what building/construction I want. I also know that I want to pay only the necessary minimum for operation and energy, but what’s next?

NWT: The first step is to calculate heat loss and total energy needs. How much hot water is required? When the building will mainly operate? What type of heating is selected? How large are the fluctuations during the year? Will be cooling necessary? And so on. Based on these values and parameters corresponding technology for heating, cooling and electrical power will be chosen.

STEP 3 – ECONOMICS, RETURN AND PRICE

Investor: I suppose that the price of the technology will be significantly higher than the common conventional resources and traditional solutions.

NWT: Yes, very often it is so. The audit includes not only the price of investment but also the return calculation. Photovoltaics and heat pumps are now return under 10 years. If it were necessary to build e.g. gas connection, it is even less. For cogeneration units, where heat can be utilized through the summer, then we come often to return between 3-4 years. That is very satisfactory, considering that home or place of business is built on much longer.

STEP 4 – CHOOSING THE SUPPLIR, CONTRACT FOR WORK

Investor: From my perspective, the hardest part of realization. How to choose the company that will complete the work on time and with quality at a predetermined price?

NWT: Very interesting payment terms, financing, experience and references, our own design team, added value in the form of consultations prior to the commencement realization. We will not continue. The vast majority of our customers are satisfied with us and continue realising further projects with us. That says it all. Each, however, must make sure himself.

STEP 5 – REALISATION

Investor: I will ensure access to the construction zone, and then I do not want to care about anything!

NWT: Never mind, that's what we're used to. Turnkey implementation is preferred by us. In case of complications, in which the investor may get during construction, we strive for maximum flexibility. We want to meet each investor. Besides, we'll miss something and sometimes we need a little patience, too.

STEP 6 – ACTIVATION, TRAINING AND ADMINISTRATION

Investor: Family house or large building - in technology, legislation and bureaucracy is not easy to be conversant often with small buildings, let alone with large. I do not want to bother next months after completion.

NWT: Each project is different. We have experience with small implementations, where no permits are needed and also major technological units, which handles the entire set of permission ending with building approval. But whether it's small or big project, our work does not end until all the "papers" are resolved and the investor is not trained and satisfied with the new technology.
